The Surf Rescue Certificate (SRC) Course is conducted at the club on a Saturday afternoon.
The Surf Rescue Certificate is the very first stage of becoming a lifesaver. Whether you plan to compete in surf sports or simply patrol, there are plenty of opportunities and a variety of challenges within a surf club:
- For U/13 - U/14's who participate in Senior Surf Life Saving competitions, the SRC is a requirement, along with minimum patrol hours to compete at local and state competitions/carnivals.
- To assist your club with community service via patrolling our beaches.
- Develop team building skills.
