After Active School’s Communities Program (AASC) Community Sports Coaching

  • Would you like some casual work throughout 2012? Have you thought about a future in Sports Coaching? Then why not become a Community Sports Coach and join the After Active School's Communities Program (AASC) with the Australian Sports Commission?
  • Steven Rypp has been involved in the promotion of the West Beach Surf Life Saving Club in the AASC Program by creating and running a 7 week Surf and Beach Awareness program to Metro School's and gained an award as a recognised Community Sports Coach Licensee and level 2 Sports Coaching Certificate!
  • The program is an Education and Training awareness program for children to learn about the Beach and the Surf Life Saving environment with a focus of fun and games related to Surf Life Saving! As the program is now operating in term 1 and 4 of the school term and we have been lucky enough to get 4 placements for term 4 in 2011 then please let me know if you would like to get involved? You need to be 15+
  • If this interests you then please get in contact with Andrew Swift from the After Active Schools Communities Program (contact details below) to find out when the next community coach course training will be on for 2011/12. After doing the course you will then be able to earn some $$$ and be involved in the delivery of our program as well as the delivery of a wide range of other sports that school's across South Australia are requesting to be delivered.
  • This is just one of the many opportunities that are present to get your foot in the door of the Sport and Recreation Industry as a Sports Community Coach but it is an excellent program to be involved in.
